The Citi Premier might not be the most flashy card but it is great for people interested in cash back but also people interested in points. With a $95 annual fee is is very affordable. It allows you to transfer points to partners but also allows you to cash out. It has very competitive multipliers compared to other $95 annual fee cards. It’s multipliers are 3x on restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations, and air travel and hotels. While some cards like the American Express Gold card have 4x on flights, restaurants and supermarkets, it does not have gas stations and hotels; it is also more than $150 more. The Chase Sapphire Preferred, which has a similar annual fee

Anyone who wants a single cheap card with multipliers for things the average person uses and the ability to transfer points to partner airlines/hotels.
This card has a bunch of multipliers that cards more expensive than it don’t have such as 3x on gas. Depending on your lifestyle, Citi might pay you to have the card because the card comes with a $100 off a $500 hotel stay once per calendar year. If you ever spend $500 on a single hotel stay and get $100 credit it means Citi paid you $5 to have the card!
