The Chase Freedom Flex is in my opinion one of the best no-annual fee credit cards available, and is a part of the Chase Trifecta. The card earns a 5 Chase Ultimate Rewards (UR) points per dollar spent on quarterly rotating categories, has several 3x categories, and earns 1 UR points on all other purchases. Additionally, the card comes with some benefits and discounts when spending at certain companies, such as Lyft, HelloFresh, DoorDash, and more.

DoorDash DashPass
The Chase Freedom Flex comes with a complimentary 3 month DoorDash DashPass membership after activation. DoorDash DashPass applies to thousands of restaurants and comes with a variety of benefits, including $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on DashPass orders over $12. It is estimated that the average order using a DashPass membership saves $4-5 per order, which can add up quickly if you order delivery food frequently.
Lyft Benefits
The Chase Freedom Flex comes with several Lyft benefits. The first benefit is 5% cash back on all Lyft rides through March 2022. Additionally, because the card is a Mastercard, you’ll get a $10 credit applied to your next ride for every five Lyft rides you take in a month. All you have to do is connect your Freedom Unlimited card to the Lyft app to get these benefits.
ShopRunner
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides ShopRunner membership as a benefit. With ShopRunner you can get free 2 day shipping on eligible items, from specific stores at no cost to you. All you need to do is enroll from the benefits tab. You can use this benefit with stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Under Armour, Bloomingdale’s, and NBA Shop.
Fandango Benefits
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides Fandango benefits. Fandango is a service that sells movie tickets through their app, and also has streaming services. By having the card, when you spend $20 at Fandango or on Fandango's streaming service, you will receive a $5 Fandango Reward for future spending. Just like the Lyft benefit, this is due to the card being a Mastercard.
HelloFresh Benefits
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides HelloFresh benefits. HelloFresh is a meal-plan delivery company that focuses on fresh food with easy to follow instructions. By having the card, and signing up for a HelloFresh meal plan, you will receive 5% cash back on all meal plan deliveries. Just like the Lyft and Fandango benefits, this is due to the card being a Mastercard.
Shopping Protections
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides several shopping related insurances. The first is purchase protection. This covers purchases for 4 months against theft or damage up to $500 per purchase. Check with Chase to make sure your situation will be covered first.
The card also provides adds an extra year of extended warranty protection above the original warranty. Again, check with Chase to make sure your situation is covered first.
Travel Insurances
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides several travel related insurances. The first is rental car collision damage waiver. By declining the rental company’s collision insurance (even if they suggest you don’t), you get secondary theft and collision damage coverage. Check with Chase to make sure your situation will be covered first.
The card also provides trip cancellation and interruption insurance up to $1,500 per person and up to $6,000 per trip for tickets if your trip is cancelled or shortened by sickness, weather, or several other situations. Again, check with Chase to make sure your situation is covered first.
Cell Phone Protection
The Chase Freedom Flex also provides cell phone protection. The card provides a maximum of $800 per claim and a maximum of $1,000 per year against theft or damage of cell phones which are paid for by the Chase Freedom Flex.
Summary
The Chase Freedom Flex card is a great card for people who want a no annual fee credit card, while also getting a $200 sign up bonus and plethora of benefits.
